KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for overall cleanliness and upkeep of the guest house.
- Cleaning guest rooms.
- Making beds.
- Replacing dirty linens and towels.
- Keep all halls and public areas clean ready for functions and conferences.
- Collecting guest laundry.
- Hand over lost and found items in the rooms.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Must have attained form 4 level of education and attained a KCSE certificate.
- Good communication skills and public relations.
- At least two years’ experience in a similar institution.
- Relate well with associates and guests.
- Sufficient Knowledge of cleaning e.t.c; obey housekeeping rules to the letter.
- Dress professionally when on duty in line with the organization dress code.
- Ability to work outside schedule
- Reliable person, accountable for tools and equipment used.
- Maximum age limit is 35 years.
- Need to communicate effectively with associates and guests.
- Laundry Skills – To avoid damaging guests’ personal items and general linen.
- Honest and reliable- Must be a person of integrity.
- Active listener.
