Receptionist Vacancy

Rosa Mystica Spiritual Centre, a Christian Guest house is seeking to fill the following positions as shown below:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcoming Guests to the Centre ensuring that each guest is given maximum customer care and that all information needed to make visitors feel at home at the Centre.
  • Performing booking procedures, registration of guests, managing check in and out.
  • Writing and presenting reservations and quotations to the guests.
  • Relating positively with guests by listening and responding to guests’ requests, handle guest complaints.
  • Answering inquiries and complaints and responding to their enquiries.
  • Coordinating the reception office e.g. typing and printing, managing office records, filing
  • Preparing cash records e.g. invoicing, giving regular guests reports to the management, photocopying e.t.c.
  • Keep a tidy and orderly work place.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. At least a diploma certificate from a recognized institution.
  2. At least a two year working experience in a hospitality environment or guest service role.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft office suite and other necessary computer programs.
  4. Written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Fluency in English and Swahili, other foreign languages e.g. French Germany e.t.c. would be an added advantage.
  6. Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude even under high pressure.
  7. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  8. Professional attitude and appearance.
